Can you meet me in Los Angeles (Hollywood)?

I'm looking for a competent geocacher who could meet me during my family holiday in the USA on the 20th (wed) or the 21st (thurs) of August.

It would involve meeting around Menn's Chinese Theatre or the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (where we'll be staying) either early morning or late evening (we only really have a day and a half there). I need someone reliable to pass on at least six travel bugs from England. It should only take 5 minutes or so. If you can help me email me or leave a message below and I'll get back to you.

Thanks,

MarcB

P.S: Does anyone know of any easy caches around the Hollywood area?

Well - I am about 20-30 minutes south of there. Actually based in Torrance - about 7 miles s. of LAX. I have 4 caches hiden in the Palos Verdes area and have logged 136 finds so far. If you want to get in touch with me - we can see if there is a way to meet up.

I could swing by around lunch time, but probably can't make it in the morning or evening.

For great views of the Hollywood sign I recommend the Hollywood Reservoir cache (GC4115). Print out the street map of the local area where the streets get twisty-turny, but it's not that hard to get to.

DruMorgan also has a cache involving the Stars Walk of Fame. If it's something you'll be doing anyway as a tourist, you can find a bunch of stars that will lead you to an offset cache.

Best of luck, and feel free to drop me a line if you want to know about any caches up in the Pasadena area.

I will be meeting MarcB at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel Thurs 8/21 9:30 AM. If anyone has any Travel Bugs they'd like to be taken "across the pond" to England, Staffordshire, to be more exact. Let me know by Wed. and we can meet somewhere for the exchange. Thanx

-Vacman: Marc left the UK 8/6, and I was able to e-mail him just before he left.
