Reach the peak - points

The new Elbrus period has started and point system suggests that Mystery cache gives 600 points, but when the Mystery has 10+ Favs - number of points is reduced to 450. That doesn't sound very logical. Is it an error or will be like this?

Well, I thought it should be like you say, but look at this screenshot from my profile - both are mysteries!

same happened to me. I found 7 mysteries. 2 of them have 10 or more fav-points.

so I only recieved 5*600 + 2*450 = 3900 points.

I expected 4200.

Writing in via the Help Center is the best way to report such tickets. There's no need for you to do that now, however, as others have already done so and our engineering team is already working on a fix.

I suppose the scores will not be corrected automatically.

I deleted and re-posted my found-logs. That works.

That's the correct solution, if someone would like the extra points to which they are entitled.

Too funny. Obviously the favorite points bonus should be in addition to any other score for that cache. That's the way I've always assumed these overlapping criteria were handled in the past, but I guess not. I see they "fixed" it by just upping the value so you don't lose points, so it's still not cumulative.

It has never been cumulative. Not in any of the past years where there have been different points for favorite points and other caches. It has always been "the higher of the two values". So the fix that was made is very much in line with that.
