Got an Inactivated Trackable as an FTF prize, with no Activation Code? Any ideas?

I got an awesome new Geo Coin as an FTF prize but the CO that placed it lost the packaging that came with it and with it, the Code required to Activate it. I know certain trackable brands use the same code for all of them, but I haven't been able to figure out who makes the one I have. I’m thinking maybe I could take it to an event that has some really seasoned caches and see if they can recognize it? Am I making this way harder than it needs to be?

Thanks

Unless you will put the coin into play, you can leave it as is, unactivated, and keep it at home.  If it's a really cool one, it might eventually become valuable as a trade or for sale, or even placed again by you as an FTF prize someday.

But if you have plans to place it into a cache to travel, or if you will bring it to cache Events to show people, then, yeah, activating it is the way to go.

You asked this exact same question three days ago on Reddit's r/geocaching page, and got the exact same answer as what @GerandKat is suggesting -- to use the Activation Code Retrieval page. Why...? You had your answer three days ago...? What...? Or perhaps you are a different person -- who has managed to come up with the exact same sentences? I am very confused.
