Anyone know what the surprise was? I tried to log a cache as I found one, but in the app I can't set the log date and I forgot to log until just after midnight... so no surprise, and a log on the wrong date.

I went to find a nearby cache just to test this and logged the Find at home, because my Droid has no data subscription.  Android tablet, Android App (just in case it works only in that App).  Log a Find, and the log count screen appears.  Just down the screen is the text "Today is International Dog Day!" and a "Let's Celebrate" button.  Click the button, and a billowing cloud of dog heads pops out and falls like fireworks, pretty cool!  I played it a couple times, and more for screen shots.  After I left that page, I didn't immediately see a way to go back and replay it.

I just logged a cache and discovered it for myself.
