+MindlessEngine
Hello, I have a few homemade WIG cartridges using Wherigo//Kit. It's been a little while since I've done this & I just finished making another one. The issue I've run into now is that when I build the cartridge on Wherigo//kit, it is a "lua" file. I need it to be "gwz" & "zip" in order to upload it to Wherigo.com. Does anyone know how to do this? I've found a way in the past, but I can't figure out how exactly I did that. Thanks! +MindlessEngine
Figured out the issue. https://www.ezyzip.com/dev-lua-to-zip-convert.html# Works great if anyone else runs into this issue! Quote Link to comment
+Forest-Ghost
You can also make ZIP, GWZ , or GWC in Wherigo kit. After logging in, click on your profile in the top right and then choose one of the "Cartridges I Own" to create a file. Quote Link to comment
Ranger Fox
Forest-Ghost is right. I have a few options in Kit for downloading the cartridge: ZIP, GWZ, and GWC. You'll need either of the first two to upload to Groundspeak's Wherigo site. The last one is for loading directly to a Wherigo player app. Don't extract the lua file from the ZIP and attempt to upload it to the Wherigo site. (The GWZ is just a ZIP file, but with the file extension renamed per the way the Wherigo site preferred it.) Quote Link to comment
