+neoIDjoe
After realizing my distance setting in notifications was too small, I have been trying to no avail to boost the distance. I've deleted the notification and recreated but I still cannot get the distance to be anything other than what is shown in the attached picture. I'm going to try to reset the cache and any form functions in my browser to see if that fixes this odd, cumbersome issue and report back. Anyone else experience this? Quote Link to comment
+neoIDjoe
I've cleared cookies and still same result. Just tried in Chrome and exact same result. GRRR Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
That's because the limit on the backend for notifications is 80 km, which equates to the value in miles that you are seeing. You will need to set the radius to a value less than or equal to that. 1 Quote Link to comment

GRRR That's the max distance. I've set up multiple notifications to go past that distance limitation. Quote Link to comment
+neoIDjoe
When a person lives in a more remote area, that limitation is a nuisance. That means, I'd have to GUESS where an event might be held and set up a notification for it. Come on HQ! 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
The Nearby Events widget on the new Dashboard (https://www.geocaching.com/account/dashboard) will show you events up to 100 miles away, although it does not provide automatic notifications: Quote Link to comment
