+Brainzane & Yossface
I support the mygeocachingprofile.com website and currently the site lists "Cacti Present" as a possible attribute that can still be found on old caches. I know it has been long discontinued from the attribute list on geocaching.com but was under the impression that it could still be found on some old CITO/event caches. At one point I had some waypoint codes for examples of such caches, but I seem to have misplaced that info! Does anyone out there have an example of a cache with "Cacti Present" still attached as an attribute? If not, I'll retire it from the mygeocachingprofile attribute list. Thanks!! 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
There is only one active cache with this attribute: GC684. There are also three archived CITO events with it - GC19X08, GC1BHCR, and GC1BXH4 - which leads me to believe that it was unexpectedly available on CITO events at one time. I don't recall exactly, but I think that the attribute was deprecated early on in favor of the "thorns" attribute. Edited July 21, 2021 by Moun10Bike Edited to remove erroneous comment that the one active cache was an EarthCache 7 1 Quote Link to comment

+Brainzane & Yossface
So strange! Thank you. Who would have thought "Cacti Present" would become the holy grail of geocaching attributes? 1 2 Quote Link to comment

I thought there was a way to do that with a number for the attribute. That looks like it should work but when *I* hit that URL I only get the last remaining active one. The one listed above - Ice Age Vista. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Yes, that's right, Search is not set up to return archived. I don't believe that Search will return any of "no" "not" attributes . Just the positive attributes, and only for active caches. For most of those attributes, you'd probably want to limit to "region" to limit returns. Quote Link to comment
