richlv
After logging a find, "View Geocache Log" page is opened. The editing icon (with a pencil) does not work as expected, though - it tries to add a new log instead. Quote Link to comment

+Viajero Perdido
That's with the "classic" logging flow, yes. It's been a "feature" for a while. If we complain too much about the old code too much, they'll just remove that option entirely. Many of us have reasons we like the old code better, like preview. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
You can edit a log after submit, but must reload it and then edit. This fixed an old bug, where a log type could be altered on edit. the current way may not be elegant, but it's better than having a cache owner log Archive on their own cache, realize they did, and without reloading the log, edit to change the type to disable; the Archive action has already happened. But it appears that the log was disable. All the action logs were vulnerable to this. Log a Needs Archived, quickly hit edit, change type. The NA has already been forwarded to reviewer, but the log type on the page is something else. 1 Quote Link to comment

When this happened yesterday I opened the listing and could then edit my log by following the edit link. I used the old logging experience. Edited July 5, 2021 by Hynz Quote Link to comment
