Egg Gude,

I have been working for several years with a historical building that also offers a living museum with a bunch of events, animations, theaters, markets and much more.
After a change in the castle management, the topic of geocaching came up again, so far this has not been seen there with great pleasure because some cachers have behaved very unpleasantly, caches are framed in a historical cemetery wall or even one placed in the building and cachers attempted the access gate by force at night to open.
But now we also consider the potential behind it.

To cut a long story short, can / may one start an event in which the content is to enter this building, what does that mean that the entrance fee has to be paid there, ideally if another event is in progress?

It's good that you're considering the potential of working with geocachers. There may be other issues with your plan, but the first thing I noticed is the idea of holding a geocaching event in conjunction with some other event. According to the guidelines (which you should read, by the way), "An Event Cache [...] Cannot be added to an existing non-geocaching event, such as meet-ups at concerts, fairs, sporting events, and scouting events".
