Community Celebration Event Map Filter

Will there ever be a filter added to the map for Community Celebration Events? I would like to be able to filter those out and view just regular events or Mega and Giga events.

Recall that Community Celebration Events were supposed to be for a limited time, in recognition of Geocaching's 20th anniversary last year.  Thanks to the pandemic, the timeframe for hosting one of these special events has been extended, with a deadline of December 2022.

 

Advanced features, like map filters, were not planned and implemented for a cache type that was only expected to be around for one year.  It's never too late to ask, though!

Use the Search Map, instead of the Browse Map. And, "hack" it a bit, because the built-in filter menu isn't diverse enough in its options.

That is a link to a map of all non-Community Celebration Event Events. You can fine-tune the exact types of Events you're looking for by adjusting the numbers that appear after the ct= at the end of the link.

• 1304 ⇒ GPS Adventures Exhibit
• 3653 ⇒ Community Celebration Event (which, you might notice, is excluded from the link above. That's why they won't show up.)

• 4738 ⇒ Geocaching HQ Block Party
• 7005 ⇒ Giga Event
