Tree Hugger
I see that there are very few caches in the Tijuana area and none at all in the town itself. Is there a problem with taking a gps into Mexico? TH Quote Link to comment
+Tradboy
...but there might be a problem with the GPS unit *staying* in TJ. Quote Link to comment
+TEAM 360
I took mine to Russia, and got some looks when the guard (carrying an AK47) held it up and asked me just what it was...so I told him it was an "electronic map". He gave it back to me and waved me through. Whew. I found out later some American spent 6 months in a Russian jail for taking geographical long/lat too close to a secret Russian Army base. If you are doing any geocaching there, I would suggest clearing the memory before you try to cross back with it. Quote Link to comment
+Doodad
I just got back from Ensenada, the GPS worked fine the whole trip. I did not cache while I was there due to nothing close and I did not want to venture off of the beaten path. Doodad Been there, Logged that, Got the T-shirt Quote Link to comment
