Do locationless caches count toward streaks?

Does anyone know if locationless caches count toward streaks on Geocaching.com as well as Project GC?

Probably yes, though you will want to watch out for timezone issues as the posted coordinates (of both currently-active Locationless caches) are in Seattle.

The only answer that matters is the one provided by the CO of the Challenge you are trying to fulfill.

Yep. Contact the cache owner and ask. If you've got a decent streak together, this isn't one of those where you want to find out the hard way that, no, the CO does not count locationless.

I'd argue that it counts, and really, if the CO didn't want it to count for a streak, they should say so up front on the cache page.

This is two different questions.

On Geocaching.com you have a stats module where all cache types including Labs and Locationless count for streaks.

Hügh identified the issue that sometimes creates a problem, which is time zone.

project-gc may have a stats module for players, I don't know, I'm not paying there.

If you're  asking about streak challenges, what counts for the streak should be on the Challenge cache page. You can always look at the config tag on a checker, and see what it says.  Post  moratorium challenges may not restrict what cache types are used for a streak - that's any challenge published after April 21, 2015

PGC has a stats mode and I don't know because I don't do streaks.  But for specific challenges, it will depend on what the author of the checker included.  For my challenges, I usually exclude locationless cachs and Adventure Labs.

Best day of my various flirtations with streaks was the day after which I stopped my streak.

A find is a find is a find.of coarse the should count. Unless it is for specific cache types.
