Hey now from Texas. We are looking for someone to do a gravestone rubbing of Pigpen's grave. In return, we will send a rubbing from TX..ie. Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lee Harvey Oswald....OR we could burn you a Dead or Phish show on CDR.

Please be kind and contact us if you can help!

Joani and I went to see The Dead last Friday. It was like old times (good old times) seeing all the boys up there doing what they do best. The vibe on the grass was great and everyone seemed to be digging the show. Here's the set list:

Set 1 start: 7:15pm

Lazy Lightning->

China Cat Sunflower->

Rubin and Cherise

A Little Piece For You (a nice Phil song)

Shakedown Street->

Mr. Charlie

Stagger Lee

Self Defense (a rocking Mickey song, very nice!)

Jack Straw

Set 1 end (8:45pm)

Set 2 start (9:15pm)

Scarlet Begonias->

Peggy-O (Fennario)->

Uncle John's Band->

Drums->Space-> (good times! Man, I had forgotten how much I liked this)

Dark Star->

Born Cross-Eyed (Joan singing lead)->

He's Gone->

Days Between (very nice Joan song)->

I Know You, Rider

Set 2 end (11:15pm)

Encore: Aiko Aiko

It was good to spend some time with the boys. I look forward to seeing them again.

Just saw the boys up the The Gorge at George. Very awesome show, took me back 15 years...

We sure miss you Jerry!

Hearing Joan Osborne was strangly familar from a time long past.

Joan seems to fit in perfectly, as if it was meant to be. I've got a few shows on CD d/loaded from "the net", can't wait to see them again. I was thinking of placing some of the CDs in caches. Deadshowz have always been good items to trade!

Today I received the 3 CD set from the Shoreline show. They (The Dead Organization)were selling copies recorded from the mixing board at the show to be mailed to you later. For $24.00 this is sure easier and cheaper than trying to haul your gear there to record. I never have it together enough by the end of the show to figure out how the catch the bus home let alone play recording tech. icon_biggrin.gif

It didn't come with a list of the songs so I copied Marky's setlist from above and tucked that in the jewel case. Marky must have had reserved seats because it was too dark to write out on the hillside!

It's still a great show as I listen to it now.

I wonder if its OK to copy and share this? Hmm, hey how about a travelling cache that follows the Dead around somehow?
