This was prompted by the discussion in the How Many Players thread but it's something I've been pondering for a while now. I started caching in 2013, three years before retiring from full-time work, and I knew it would play a big part in my twilight years as it combines many of the things I've always enjoyed. Back then, new caches were appearing locally at about the same rate I was finding them so I thought it would be a sustainable activity, but that started dropping away substantially in 2016
In what way, exactly, have you been affected by someone falsely claiming a find on a cache? Did you go search for a cache that wasn't there because one Found log appeared after a dozen DNFs and no indication of Owner Maintenance? Even if you did that, isn't searching for caches what you planned to do anyway?
Whose experience is more important? Please don't make this a "tinkling contest" - to me, MY experience is the most important. To you, YOURS is.
