+niraD
The Tennessee Valley Geocachers just had a live online scavenger hunt using Zoom. The first three meeting participants to bring each item to their camera scored points, and there were prizes at the end for the top three scorers. The items to be retrieved included geocaching-related items like camouflage duct tape or a signature item you collected from a cache, as well as other things like cheese that is not sliced or something you've owned since high school. It was a lot of fun. Given the ongoing lack of in-person events in many areas, I thought it might be useful to compile a list of geocaching games for online unevents. And we've got our first entry: 1. Online Scavenger Hunt 1 3 Quote Link to comment
+G0ldNugget
How about a Puzzle cache themed event? Players could collaborate on solutions or share strategies for solving the tough ones. Perhaps share some unique or fun puzzle ideas. This could be especially helpful to beginners who are intimidated by this cache type and have no idea where to begin. Perhaps it could drive some traffic to those under appreciated local puzzles that only get found once a year. You could even coordinate the timing with the release of a new puzzle cache that is solvable by a method covered in your meeting. Quote Link to comment

Puzzle Caches" events and unevents, sponsored by local puzzlers who taught basic (and not-so-basic) techniques to others. They've been popular events and unevents, but they aren't really the kind of geocaching games I had in mind. Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
"Never Have I Ever" is a fun icebreaker. In college, we normally played it as a drinking game, but I suppose alcohol is not a mandatory ingredient. Quote Link to comment

+thebruce0
Kahoot! Is a great trivia contest game with timed questions and scores, and the host can stream as people connect with their local app (or via website) to simultaneously participate. Quote Link to comment
