+Lesharles
Hi up until now i have used a smartphone but someone has given me an old but fully functioning Garmin Oregon 550. I can't download geocaches because Garmin Express does not appear to be compatible and other older apps are 32 bit technology which my MacBook OS will not recognise as it is 64 bit only. Could i download geocaches to an SD card and put in my GPS ??? and if so how do i do it please. Quote Link to comment

Probably the best way is to create some Pocket Queries and save them on the GPX folder of your unit or in a card. Quote Link to comment

First create the PQs, and download them into your computer. Now you will need to connect your GPS with the computer (presumably via-USB) then access the unit and the card like if they are external discs. After that, just move the files and/or folders to the right place... in this case, the GPX folder inside your Oregon. Edited February 19, 2021 by RuideAlmeida Quote Link to comment
