Only 65, I'd use some 3/8 x25' poly rope and an 5 or 6 rung etrier. Simple and light, fits in a daypack. It's to get up into the tree (nine times outta ten all lower branches are shot), but most times it's all that's needed to get to the container too. Higher, or out on a limb, and I'd just use 7/16 rescue rope and mechanical ascenders, descenders. Still lighter than any ladder... - I like Petzl's Ascension with dual foot loop, and a Stop descender. Quote Link to comment
