Anyone else having problems accessing Geocaching App via iPhone? (I'm accessing now via lap top).

Following download today of the above update, I cannot now access the app.

The update was for 'Ongoing maintenance ... small visual changes and bug fixes for a more consistent experience'.

Have tried switching phone on / off & downloading the Geocaching App from the App Store, but all I get is a green page with the Geo logo in the middle of it!

Help!

May help if you provide your iPhone model and iOS.

 

PS: My iPhone 11 with iOS 14.3 is working fine...

Same for me, iPhone 7 with 14.2, and says the software is up to date. Don't want to uninstall/reinstall the app and lose my saved waypoints.

I have the same issue on my iPad Air2, iOS 14.3 wich I normally use for planning my routes.

I wait with the upgrade on my iPhone until this is solved.

And the browser version struggels with a lot of other strange things that make me start loosing my interest... ?

I cannot access Geocaching app  via my iPhone 6 +with iOS 12.5, the phone says is up to date ( I don't think the phone will accept updates beyond 12.5). Geocaching works on the iMac.

 

I tried by turning the phone off then back on. Every other app seems  to work okay.

Per info from Community Coordinator "there was an update to the app that unfortunately requires it to be installed and reinstalled to work properly".I did that and all seems to be in order now.

 Thanks for the update, only just viewing forum since last post!

One thing I learnt from I.T. at work was if something wasn't working 'have you tried turning it off then turning it on again?'

I did that and it worked (through re-installing)!
