Movement of geocoins from inventory into my watchlist?

I forgot how to move one of my geocoins on my inventory list to my watchlist!  Do I first have to place it into a cache before I can watch its movement?

Please, a response would be appreciated!

I believe you can only "watch" another's Trackables.  

You get a notification every time a Trackable is moved, missing, or Discovered.  The only log you don't get notification is the "Visit" log.
