+Sagefox
When on a cache page and clicking on View Larger Map it defaults to the Search Caches map. This map has very powerful search filters but for my purposes I never use it. Is there a way to make the Browse Caches map the default? I tried the search forums tool but it didn't find what I was looking for. Quote Link to comment

+2Abendsegler
As @barefootjeff has already written, there is no way to make the Browse Map the default. But maybe it is also sufficient if you have a second link that calls up the Browse Map. You can use the script below. Edited November 14, 2020 by 2Abendsegler Quote Link to comment
+Goldenwattle
Except for seeing contours, the Search map is of no use to me what-so-ever. It's slow to load and then only shows a small area. I use Browse map, where I can see all the caches. Very important to see all the caches, especially when preparing a trip of hundreds (or more) of kms. I need the broad overview. Edited November 14, 2020 by Goldenwattle Quote Link to comment

+dprovan
When the search map came out and people asked for the browse map being the default, the answer given was always to click on the browse button after the search map comes up. I still don't think that's much of an answer, but it is a quick way to get to the map you want. Quote Link to comment

My 'shortcut' is to use the "Find... ...all nearby caches" link, which produces a list, then click the Map This Location link to go to the Browse map. Seems to me to be the simplest/quickest way to get a browse map centered at the listing coordinates that doesn't involve cutting and pasting. +2Abendsegler
There is a link to the browse map in the head of every cache listing ... PS: I haven't got around to analysing your problem yet. 1 Quote Link to comment

If only it were that easy. I don't see any "Map this Location". You've got a helper script doing that? Quote Link to comment

+Viajero Perdido
Ah okay, not every listing. We live in different worlds. Every listing when you've taken the trouble to enhance the base product... 1 Quote Link to comment
