Wrong localised date in German version of website

The bug is explained quite easy and fast: All dates on the website are formatted in the wrong way for the German translation and it's quite confusing. It's most confusing with the search results, because there the correct formatting is used, but the order is still wrong.

Wrong appearances on the German website:

MM.DD.YYYY (totally confusing because you expect it to be correct because of the periods) or MM/DD/YYYY (also wrong, but you know this from other wrong translated websites)

Correct would be:

DD.MM.YYYY

That is not a bug, but default option. You can change that in your profile settings.

Just go to: https://www.geocaching.com/account/settings/preferences

There, you can change your Date Format to one of many available.
