+c1954m
Hello. Do you know how often geocaching.com updates map trails. Also, is it necessary to use a certain type of line on OpenStreetMap that the path is visible in the geocaching maps? Tks. Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
1. A few times a year, as best I can tell. 2. If editing OSM, it's important to tag correctly, rather than to get a specific result from a particular renderer. Groundspeak's map does seem to show all trails, but often you need to scroll in a notch before they become visible. If you use the Browse map (the one with the Search button), switch to "Leaflet" in preferences (a misnomer, don't ask). On that side, there are several OSM-based options that are generally much more up-to-date, and IMHO more pleasing to the eye. Edited November 6, 2020 by Viajero Perdido Quote Link to comment
+c1954m
Thank you for the answer. It seems to me that for a mapping based hobby, they should update their maps more often, like once a month let's say. 1 Quote Link to comment
+c1954m
I wonder if anyone from Groundspeak reads these posts every now and then? 3 Quote Link to comment

As far as I saw, they do read everything, but they answer very seldom or only to major bugs reported. But your question is definitely justified 1 Quote Link to comment
