That's a function of Windows, and which programs it associates with which files. From your screen shot it looks like you have Windows 10. Here are instructions on how to change file associations in a few different versions of Windows.

 

The short version is you need to go into Settings, find the Software or Apps option, then click on "Default apps by file type".

 

If my short-short answer isn't clear enough, follow the link and it gives a longer explanation along with screenshots to make it easier to find the right settings.
