I have created a waymark

and wish use it to create a virtual cache to create.

Virtual Caches can only be hidden if you receive a "Virtual Reward" under a program that is limited in scope.  Since your account doesn't own any caches, it's unlikely that you would receive a Virtual in a future round of rewards, if any.

 

You would stand a better chance of featuring this location in a stage of an Adventure Lab.  Have you opted in to apply for an Adventure Credit?

 

Since you are an experienced geocacher and your question doesn't relate to Getting Started in the hobby, I have moved your thread to the general Geocaching Topics forum.

Are you going to categorize and submit the waymark?

If a Waymark and Virtual share the same location be sure the information required for the Virtual can't be gathered by simply reading the Waymark listing.

No problem! That's what the forums are for, right? Groundspeak may do another round of virtual rewards, but they are more likely to give it to the cacher that has more experince hiding caches. If you are serious about getting a virtual reward, I would get dome more hides under your belt. Good luck!
