+cerberus1 Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Sometimes at an event, chat on trail, or these forums, someone will mention that they visit PA game lands on Sunday, when the area's off-limits to hunters. Not sure where this idea came from, but there's been Sunday hunting for foxes, coyotes, and crows as long as this old fart's been hunting. Well, now three Sunday hunting days have been approved this year on all PA game lands for big game too.. The days are: Nov 15, for Archery deer, Nov 22 for bear, and Nov 29 for Rifle deer. A heads-up folks. Be safe. 1 Quote

Just a reminder, the rest of the sundays in November are added to big game hunting seasons. Be safe... Our largest landowner, many hunters only hunt the big game seasons Pa game lands seasons. They allow us to play there for free... - Game lands aren't supported by general fund taxes, but hunting licenses, gas/oil revenues, and logging. If you're determined to go out, wear a lot of orange and don't wear black at all during any bear season. I've hunted since a kid, yet won't enter game lands November 26 to Dec 10th during the very-busy rifled deer season. Quote
