Bluetooth cache data from iphone to GPS

I'm fairly new to caching. I recently bought a Garmin 64st and would like to be able to wirelessly send cache data from my iphone to the GPS. Is this possible? My understanding is that the GPS is bluetooth capable, but I can't figure out what I need to do on my iphone to send the data. Before I make myself crazy (okay, I already have), is this even possible? And if so, what do I need to do? Any assistance is much appreciated.

Only certain Garmin units (e.g., Oregon 700) support "Geocaching Live" over their BT interface.  I don't believe the 64st is one of them, but a 64 owner may say they've found otherwise.

There's a phone app (Garmin Connect Mobile) that links the phone to the unit.  For whatever your unit CAN do, you'll want that.  I do know that the 64st supports notifications received on the phone to be sent to your unit via that app.

Yes, that's what they mean... other Garmin units.

However, if you look more carefully at the configuration of the Garmin Connect app, it is capable of sending some other notification information to your 64 device as well.  I haven't read the docs on the 64 to see how clear they are in this regard, but fiddling with the Connect app configuration should show you the options relevant to your phone and the 64.
