+ggmorton Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I thought this used to work. Maybe I am misremembering. When uploading an image to a waymark, I selected the check box for a waypoint. I added the info and uploaded the image. After that the waypoint information I entered is not visible anywhere. Am I doing it wrong? Quote

vulture1957 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I have used it before, and I believe the coords would be listed, and the map would show those coords. I just checked one of mine and it is not doing that. Quote

I used it so rarely, that I'm not sure I would be able to find one that I have previously entered. Quote
+ScroogieII Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 (edited) Well, if you need, or want, coords associated with a pic, why not just put them ON the pic: You don't get a marker on the map, but it's better than nada. Quote Edited October 4, 2020 by ScroogieII Quote
+ScroogieII Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Duuuhhhh - I shoulda thunk of this at the beginning - Put the coords in the image caption. We know that works. Keith 1 Quote
vulture1957 Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 but why, oh why, can't the items on the site work as they are installed. It gives us a place to put the coords, but then they go into nowhere. Quote
+Max and 99 Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 I put coordinates in the description of images I upload to find a grave since there is no variable for them. But I agree it'd be nice if the Waymarking site worked as intended. Quote
