Can anyone speak to the survival of some of the oldies in OR/WA such as GC12, GC16, GC17, GCD, etc. etc. through the fires that have plagued Oregon and Washington?  Too soon to tell?  Not in the path?  Needs Maintenance?  (nobody better reply with "needs archived" for these gems...)

Thanks--iHam

Not your job to maintenance them... if needed to be archived, archived them and move on.

A pretty harsh response to someone wondering if any of the oldest caches were in any of the fire zones.

Huh?  I'm sorry that didn't make any sense to me.  What does "if there's co" mean?  Who's being a victim?  And what game?

I'm serious, I didn't understand your last post at all.  Maybe because I flunked English 12 years in a row, but "if there's co" made no sense to me.  But I now see you've edited the post, but seem to be blaming me??

I still don't get the references to "victimized" and "childish game" you made.  I don't think you are talking about the game of geocaching...

I'm being honest here, I'm trying to understand what you mean, but if you just want to throw insults around fine, do your thing.

Grow up and walk away from the forum.

It's obvious who's being childish.  I've been asking for clarification of what you wrote, but all you've done is tried to deflect attention by tossing out insults.  You obviously have some agenda or grievance, but I guess I did invite you to "do your thing".

But I do agree, grow up is excellent advice.  Take it.

To get back to original question, it looks like GCD, GC12,  and GC17 weren't affected by the fires (recent finds).  There is a note from last month on GC16 but no update on it's condition.
