Garmin 64s

Can anyone help?

I have bought a new Garmin gps 64s but can’t see how to link it to my Geocaching account. I am able to download caches and send PQ to it but have not been able to link my account

Connect to your account HOW? 

Are you trying to send your field notes taken during your finds back to geocaching.com?  If so, you plug in your device, log into geocaching.com, go to "Play" and "Drafts" and follow the instructions to upload your notes there.

i want my finds to show on my garmin 64s and also for it to know who I am. My last gps garmin Nuvi 550 linked to my account when I set it upThanks

Your Garmin 64s has no idea who you are.  Only Garmin devices that can send logs and other data wirelessly can or need to know about your geocaching account.

 

With 4800+ caches found, many here will recommend to you that you turn your MyfFnds PQ into a custom POI list and load it to your 64s that way so as to readily distinguish them and avoid cluttering up space better left for unfound caches.  That's not as important as it used to be, but it can help.

 

Your Nuvi 550 was linked to an account to provide map updates, etc.  That's not the case for your 64s.

Thank you so much, I feel a lot happier using my new toy now especially as I have set it up as it is supposed to be. Thought I had missed a step somewhere.
