"Mystery Solution Checker" Attribute

So we have some new attributes, which is nice. I'm assuming that this one is to indicate that your puzzle cache has the Groundspeak solution checker enabled. So why doesn't the attribute appear automatically if the checker is toggled on, and disappear if it is off?

If I remember correctly in the release notes it explained why. I think you have to go back to the cache page and click edit and toggle it back off, save, and then enable it again and save in order for the attribute to appear. It's a very long release note so you may want to just check what it says about it. I think this is another attribute in which they will be running a script to add it to geocache pages.

My reading is that that's essentially what will happen. To the extent that that's not what you're seeing, I'd guess that's just because we're in a period of transition.

So... just leave it be for now and see what happens. That didn't even occur to me. I write a bit of production code from time to time (as a consultant) and just couldn't imagine that this was rolled out to the live server without it working  the way they intended it to right off the bat.

My most recently published (8.23.20) puzzle with gc.com checker had the attribute toggled on by default as soon as the attribute became available.  I didn't do anything.  It just appeared on its own.
