iOS Problem Connecting

I get the error, "Connection Problem - Uh-oh. There was a problem connecting to the Geocaching servers..." It happens using cell data or wi-fi. I am NOT using a vpn. I can connect and login on my laptop. iPhone 7. iOS 13.6.1.

Just tried it on the iPhone and no connection problems here.

Which version of the App is it?

 

If it's the old "paid" App, I think that's the error it shows.

As the OP has not logged any cache finds since 2014, this is a likely cause. 

 

If so, the OP should install and use the current free official Geocaching App for iPhone, which is working fine.

That was it.The old app appeared to launch fine and didn't show any updates, but failed to contact the server.

Am I missing something or does the iphone app not have a way to find my hides or my finds?

They show on the map. I also have a list of my finds to help me find them quicker on the app.
