Yesterday I found 20 caches.  I already had 117 points towards the Memory Lane souvenirs, so these gave me enough points for the last 2 souvenirs.  I had also obtained two of the Modern Wonders and these 20 completed both the modern Wonders and the Ancient Wonders, so I got all three souvenirs.

 

5 Souvenirs in 20 caches!  Is this a record?  Anybody got more than 5 in 20 caches or 5 in fewer than 20?

No contest here.  We had completed the Memory Lane with our normal caching well before the WoW promo started.  So we can't beat your record!

 

Going for the WoW "Unchallenge" to see how long it takes to get the WoW souvenirs without making an effort to do so; 12 caches, 6 wonders so far with our regular caching routine and not looking at the Wonders involved until after we've logged our caches for the day, in order of how we found them.  5 Souvenirs with 20 finds is pretty unique!  With the souvenir promos overlapping as they are in this weird 2020 year, though, it may be more common than we think!

I didn't do anything special - just went for some caches for the day.  I expected to get enough to complete Memory Lane, getting the WOW ones was unexpected.

 

It would be possible for an overseas visitor to the New England region to get several US State souvenirs, plus the USA souvenir, in fewer than 20 caches.  Not that anyone is going to be able to do that for a while

In 2013, you could have one souvenir per found for each day of August, so although cool, it's definitely not a record.

That is true - I actually got 7 in 7 caches (one per day for the first 7 days).  However, if I can move the goalposts (or put them back where I meant them to be) "...in one day"
