I recently adopted a multi cache that is on an orienteering course and got a log from someone who couldn't do it via the official app. Is there a way to project waypoints from the app using bearing degrees and distance to set the WP's?

I did a projection geocache yesterday, and I do not know of any way to do it on the official app.

What is the story behind? Clash between developers?

Why don't you read by yourself? I gave you the link.

Come on, Hans! Could you please calm down? There is no need to roll your eyes at me.

I did read what was written behind the link you gave. If I hadn't, how could I know that the app is...

And sorry if you know these developers better than me but I don't know them at all.

GCC is (was?) written by "Eisbehr". This name sounds in my mind like a one person pseudonym (I get the German play of words). In the Play Store there is no sign of this app discontinuation.

GC Wizard description tells us that it was written...

This sounds like there is (was?) a team behind Eisbehr. And one member of this "team" decided to start a new (similar) project.

Maybe I'm blind but I can't read anything else in this description exposing what happened.

And this is why I wondered what was the story behind. I made a first assumption: maybe there was a clash between developers. But it also could be that Eisbehr is dead and nobody knows how to take over on his/her account. Or something completely different. Who knows? I don't.

And that's why I asked. Because I followed the link. And I read by myself. And I didn't find an answer.

Vielleicht habe ich Tomaten auf den Augen.

Thank you, again.
