+dugfresh
I recently adopted a multi cache that is on an orienteering course and got a log from someone who couldn't do it via the official app. Is there a way to project waypoints from the app using bearing degrees and distance to set the WP's? +cerberus1
I haven't used the app in some time, but in the Help Center, HQ provides a link to geocaching toolbox, so I'd say not in the "official" app. 1 Quote Link to comment

+Tungstène
cerberus1 and 99 are both correct. If you play online, the geocaching toolbox website linked in the help center will be useful. If you play offline or if you prefer, you can install the GCC app which will provide among a lot of other useful tools a coordinates projector. 1 Quote Link to comment

+Tungstène
Come on, Hans! Could you please calm down? There is no need to roll your eyes at me. I did read what was written behind the link you gave. If I hadn't, how could I know that the app is... 9 hours ago, Tungstène said: Only one month old And sorry if you know these developers better than me but I don't know them at all. GCC is (was?) written by "Eisbehr". This name sounds in my mind like a one person pseudonym (I get the German play of words). In the Play Store there is no sign of this app discontinuation. GC Wizard description tells us that it was written... 4 hours ago, HHL said: By a developer of the famous Android tool GeoCache Calculator (GCC) This sounds like there is (was?) a team behind Eisbehr. And one member of this "team" decided to start a new (similar) project. Maybe I'm blind but I can't read anything else in this description exposing what happened. And this is why I wondered what was the story behind. I made a first assumption: maybe there was a clash between developers. But it also could be that Eisbehr is dead and nobody knows how to take over on his/her account. Or something completely different. Who knows? I don't. And that's why I asked. Because I followed the link. And I read by myself. And I didn't find an answer. Vielleicht habe ich Tomaten auf den Augen. Thank you, again. 1 Quote Link to comment
