misilot
Hi, I have noticed when submitting geocaches later in the day / evening they end up getting posted to my account with the next days date. I am guessing the Garmin is submitting with a UTC timestamp and geoaching.com is just seeing the date and saving it as such. Does anyone know of a way to make either the garmin send the localized datetime to geocaching.com, or a way to set a preference in my geoaching.com account that UTC timestamps should be treated as my local time defined in my profile. Though this could be problematic if I move between timezones geocaching on a trip. Thanks! Tom Quote Link to comment
Atlas Cached
Ate you referring to the auto logging portion of GCLive? Quote Link to comment
misilot
I am referring to when I click "Log Cache" / Found or DNF and hit done. I do have the setting to auto upload turned on. Quote Link to comment
Atlas Cached
And is it logging at that very time? (Do you have an internet connection via WiFi or Bluetooth) Or, are they all logged at a later time because the GPSr does not have internet in the field? Quote Link to comment
misilot
They get logged immediately via Bluetooth to my phone Quote Link to comment
