+Meemu&Äiti&muut
I am quite a new regarding caching (my wife introduced it to me this summer) and I stumbled across a problem. I am planning a road trip and I want to get as many caches on the way. I've planned the route using Google maps. Is there a simple way to import the map to a geocaching application or website where i can easy see the caches along the route and pick the ones I want to check out and make a list. I would prefer doing this on a proper computer as a large display and mouse are much easier to use than a smallish display on a tablet or phone. My computer runs Linux and my tablet and phone runs Android if it helps suggesting software. Rgs, Noob Edited July 30, 2020 by Meemu&Äiti&muut Quote Link to comment
+Jayeffel
Should be able to be I have never used it to my knowledge. Go to the main Geocaching.com page, select new caches, then on the upper right of the screen you should see your user name, select that. The next page on the lower right side you should see an area "Create a Route." I have never tried it so cannot tell you more. Good luck. Edited July 30, 2020 by Jayeffel spelling. +colleda
You can also search for a route. Someone may have already gone the same way you are intending, and you can modify it to suit if you wish. Quote Link to comment

If you "ignore" the Google maps route " start" you should check out https://cachetur.no You can create a trip where you get a route by inputing your start and destination coordinates, and then through a tampermonkey addon you can superimpose that route onto the map at both geocaching and project-gc, and add caches to your trip by a simple click on your mouse... There's a blog series explaining the initial start here: https://blog.cachetur.no/2018/12/cghove-creates-a-trip-part1/ Quote Link to comment

(Didn't used to be so, and possibly they fixed it again, but this was true as of the last time I used it.) Quote Link to comment
