Mitgliedschaft von vierteljährlich auf jährlich ändern - Change membership from quarterly to yearly

Hallo zusammen,

 

ich bitte mal um kurze Hilfe! Im Mai (16.05.20) habe ich eine Premium Mitgliedschaft über ein Vierteljahr abgeschlossen. Nun würde ich gerne auf den jährlichen Rhythmus wechseln. Muss ich dazu erst die vierteljährliche Laufzeit kündigen, oder ist der direkte Wechsel auch möglich? Und wann wäre dann der beste Zeitpunkt von Kündigung bzw. Wechsel? Würde bei jetziger Kündigung das 3-Monats-Abo noch bis 16.8. laufen, oder würde ab sofort das Jahres-Abo laufen?

Do I have to cancel the quarterly term first, or is it also possible to switch directly? And when would be the best time to terminate or change? Would the 3-month subscription be canceled until 16.8. running, or would the annual subscription run now? Best regards, Marc

do you know that there's a German-speaking section https://forums.geocaching.com/GC/index.php?/forum/148-german-speaking-forum-deutschsprachiges-forum of these forums? If you want to use the German language you are welcome. I think you should (only/mainly) use the English language here.

 

I don't think your membership is extending automatically, is it? So you just bought one PM for three months and that's it? If so you can simply buy another PM. It will add a whole year to the expiring date so even if you buy it now it'll run untul 16. August next year. If you bought two of them ot let's say someone gifted another one it will always add.

Here are the details:

When you switch from a quarterly to an annually renewing Premium membership, you don’t lose any Premium membership time that you paid for. Your new membership will start on the day the previous membership expires. 

1. In your account settings, select Membership.
2. Select Edit Membership.
3. Select Stop Recurring Membership to cancel your current renewing Premium membership.
4. Purchase an annual membership.
