+-RoBo-
On a trackbug 'Mark Missing' log (https://www.geocaching.com/track/log.aspx?LUID=4d86838f-423a-4799-9db0-182b2d28c51d) you can click 'Edit Log' pencil icon. After having changed/updated the text, it's not possible to save it (see attached screen.png image). Instead you get warnings: Choose a Log Type You can't use this log type when there is no waypoint available. Quote Link to comment

So since the TB was already marked missing you can't edit it because it no longer has a waypoint associated with it. You can't mark a TB as missing when there is no location to mark it missing from. If it's important information can you write a note instead, since you can't edit the mark missing log? Just trying to understand this scenario. Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Yeah, maybe I'm not getting it. I edit most trackables (the name too) after they end up, and I later mark "missing". -ROBO- , are you saying that no longer works ? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Okay, think I got it... You want to write what you already put in a note, to your "mark missing" log, is that it ? Our first "missing" trackable was in '07, and IIRC, you couldn't edit out, or add to the "The owner has set this Trackable as missing." default message then either. They have a Write Note above them.
