+Bo_Jack
I was thinking lately about placing a cache in the Michaux state forest. Was wondering how you go about getting your cache approved by the DCNR. Is the a fee to hide? Quote Link to comment

There is a link to the guidelines that describe the permit process. 1 Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Good link from niraD. Another good spot to look about permissions is the Regional Geocaching policies wiki. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
More specifically, within the wiki https://wiki.Groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Pennsylvania#Pennsylvania-PennsylvaniaStateForestsandParks(DCNR) Quote Link to comment
Keystone
The $30 fee is for hiding a cache in a PA State PARK, good for three years. That's why there's so few caches in PA State Parks. Caches in PA State Forests are subject to the same DCNR policy, but without the fee. 2 Quote Link to comment
+L0ne.R
You might want to look at the State Forest's COVID information page. And the wiki regional page regarding COVID and cache publications. It says the information is accurate as of April 2nd, so you might need to ask a reviewer about new publications. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
There have been no updates since April 2nd to the Pennsylvania policy for publication of events and geocaches. We're happy to publish guideline-compliant new caches in State Forests, because that's a place where someone might to go get physical exercise - an exception to the state's "Stay at Home" order. We did add a paragraph to the PA Wiki section today regarding maintenance expectations. 1 Quote Link to comment
