RWB713
Hi guys, still new to the game but slowly figuring things out... we've found two benchmarks so far that I'd like to log as well....but I am definitely not up to speed on benchmark info, I juts think they're really cool. Anyway... found these benchmarks within 15 ft of the caches I have listed with them, but I can't seem to find either when I look at nearby benchmarks... these two are both pretty obvious, so I don't think they wouldn't have been logged yet... Next to the cache City Limits (GC1360Z): Next to the cache USBR 1968 ( GC3X9QQ ) : Thanks in advance for all the help! The wife, stepson, and myself all went out today for out first official day of caching...We found 11, logged 2 DNF's, and had a blast! Quote Link to comment

Same username and password as geocaching. Every geocache page has a link to the nearest waymarks and vice versa. Quote Link to comment
+msrubble
Yes, benchmarks are interesting. Not all of them are included in geocaching.com's database. If you can find them in another database, like NGS, or your state's geodetic database, you can document your finds in the U.S. Benchmarks category on Waymarking.com. I could not find either of these marks in the NGS listing for San Juan County, New Mexico. You can look up all the marks in a county here. You might find more help in the Benchmarking forum.
