Guest garyc
I am trying to get some of the papers in the NE Florida area to do a story on geocashing, but I am finding some resistance from them. They want to know if it is really a sport or just a game. I try to explain that it is really both, and they are having a hard time understanding the whole concept of it. If anyone has any ideas they would be great help. Quote Link to comment
Guest tjbowers
Gary- You may wish to contact Jeremy at Geocaching.com for advice. Also consider a post in the general interest Groundspeak forums. I guess you used the "high tech treasure hunt" description. If not, consider trying that approach. It was enough to get me interested in the sport/game/whatever. Also consider offering to take the reporter on a cache hunt. If there are no caches in the area, set one out yourself and allow the reporter to hunt it using your GPS receiver. That's my $.02 Jess Quote Link to comment
