EDIT to add: HINTS FOR MY MISSION PARTNER: My favorites are astronomy/astrology, new age, alien, Celtic, Egyptian, OWL, hedgehog, horse, dog, dragons, cars, motorcycles, colorful/glow. The top on my wish list is a GC trackable North Dakota Coin.
And, FTF Magazine Volume 1 Issue 1---I can still hope!!!
I enjoy surprises, too, and would be happy with any Coins I may receive for Missions!!!

Just shipped out one of ours to Europe from Atlanta GA PO.  They are accepting and shipping 'large letters' (6x9 or less envelope, less than 2 pounds) but cannot guarantee or track it once it leaves US...   Fingers and paws crossed that it arrives safely -- eventually !   

 

Everyone stay safe and sane !  These are difficult times.  But maybe we will finally get all our geocoins organized and sorted !

I will try to ship my missions tomorrow 20-03-2020, but i do not guarantee it will get to their destination on time or if they will except my packages.

As we (Portugal) have declared STATE of EMERGENCY, and have limited access (as most of you probably do too).

Just in case we get restricted to the house, or the post office closes, we ran out today to get them in the mail.  Both going international.....keeping our fingers crossed for a quick delivery!

Yesterday my husband went to get our mail in the mailbox (a few hundred feet from our house) and came back with a bubble mailer. He thought it was my Easter mission but I reminded him that it was impossible since it can't be shipped from the country it is coming from.

 

I opened it and was very happy to see it was an Easter package coming from Getzie family thanking me for hosting all those missions. Inside was a cute card, a wooden token, some cute stickers, an Easter foam kit and a gorgeous Dutch 2019 geocoin.

 

Since the grand-kids can't come over right now I couldn't resist assembling the little foam chicks :laughing:

 

Thanks Olaf for the thoughtful package!!!  :wub:

Also must remember that some if not all are under govermental isolation orders which WILL delay sending and receiving our missions (I'm in one).

For my mission sender it is must more rewarding to know that you are healthy and safe, I'll receive it when I receive it and if it means that you must send it later to remain health please do so! You friendship is more important!

Kini-ont is 100% right.

 

I don't want anyone to feel obligated to leave their home and go to the poste office.

 

I just ask those who will be waiting for the storm to pass to update their status and just write so in the ''''' Sent my gift '''''.

 

That way I can see what is going on with each mission.
