There's a sighting available about 20:30 the evening of Mar 19, and YoSam. in Missouri has agreed to play. I working on getting someone in the Wisc/Ill area to also play. So anyone along the trajectory (SW to NE - El Paso to Chicago) and wants play is welcome.

I've been keeping an eye on upcoming passes.

Pending approval from the category leader, I may need a partner for this Saturday morning, in OKC. IF I get approval, this is my partner's information in OKC:

March 14: 6:25:18 max time, 61º, mag -3.8, WNW, SW, SE.

14 Mar -3.8 06:24:20 40° WNW 06:25:18 61° SW 06:28:37 10° SE

visible

The Category Leader has been camping out in the woods for the past week. No internet access of any kind.

Now catching up on all the news. I was also too foggy to see anything on the morning of March 14.

Yeah, my whole Spring Break plans went down the drain. Heavy snow overnight at our north destination, and continual rain at our south destination. So bummed!

The ISS watch wasn't going to happen. But I have a tentative May watch with Spain, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Has everyone noticed Venus in the evening sky? It is currently the 3rd brightest object in the sky behind the Sun and the Moon. It will be shining brightly at mag -4.4. It has also reached it's highest elevation in the sky at sunset. Here in Texas it has an Elevation of 45° from March 10 to April 9.

VERY bright!

scroogiell -- Does Heavens-Above show a visible pass at your location the evening of May 31? It reaches just at 45° over Bethany, coming from NW. We may be able to do a sighting together.

Maybe Max&99 could partner with T0SHEA?

30 May -2.9 21:45:30 10° WNW 21:48:40 38° SSW 21:51:33 12° SE visible
31 May -1.3 22:35:31 10° WSW 22:36:52 12° SW 22:38:09 10° SSW visible

Unfortunately, not a usable one.:(

I have one right overhead on Mar 31, headed ESE, but it goes dark about the time it reaches the Dakotas.

yes, so many time ones between us, it's usually too light for you . I can get Denver or Wyoming, but hard to get anything further west.
