+rlauhead
A few days ago, Internet Explorer 11 quit displaying maps. I know IE11 probably isn't being supported anymore, but is anyone else having this problem? If I click Play/View Map, I just get a blank screen. Same thing if I click View Larger Map from a description page. I guess I will have to start using Chrome as that still displays maps (sigh). Quote Link to comment
+Wacka
Internet Exploder was outdated at least 15 years ago. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Has anybody seen a System Requirements page for the new map ("search map")? It's been a D5 puzzle... I know it needs WebGL (what's that?), and a modern browser (defined?)... Quote Link to comment
Keystone
The Help Center article on Unsupported Devices and Browsers is where compatibility standards are listed. It may be in need of an update to catch up with recent changes to the website. Quote Link to comment

I recently had to reformat my computer. The map loaded fine before the reformat, but has not loaded since. Very disheartening. I have not installed any other browsers yet, but fear I will now have to, if I ever want to see my map again. Ugh. Quote Link to comment
+Calcows
Use FireFox or Chrome, dump IE in the trash bin. 1 Quote Link to comment

Ugh. There is a new Microsoft Edge, requires installation. As mentioned, other newer browsers should work. Unfortunately, IE won’t be updated. That’s the old style map - I.e. View Browse Map from the menu. Still the only one I use. ? 1 Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Right. The newer map ("Search" map is the name we've given it) needs a newer browser and hardware than the old ("Browse") map. System requirements were never published, but we've determined you need WebGL for sure. There's a test here: https://get.webgl.org/ On 3/28/2020 at 11:22 AM, ras_oscar said: IE doesn't support map display Map doesn't support IE.
