+prussel Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Thank you, very interesting. Could we make a new category out of this? I would be in! Quote

That's interesting! I don't know if it's just the browser I'm using, but I can't get the map to pan. Wow, the VERY first listing I checked out in my area had an interesting comment/warning. So if this became a Waymarking category..... https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/gandinis-circus Edited February 21, 2020 by Max and 99 Quote

Have you created waymarks in that neighborhood? Edited February 21, 2020 by elyob Quote

+Max and 99 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 That is a very cool site, though! I've been enjoying browsing it. Quote

An interesting website, but looking at the 51 places in Vienna, Austria, I get the impression that the authors have a strange view of my hometown. There are two crypts, a museum devoted to historical Viennese murders, a former insane asylum, a cemetery of the nameless, a museum of contraception and abortion, the house of "the most prolific female murderer ever", an undertakers museum. Well, maybe Vienna is a little more "Obscura" than other big cities. :-) Edited February 21, 2020 by PISA-caching Quote

+machard Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Is there a way to know if this has ever been submitted for a new category? Quote
chrissyml Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 I believe it has but the response was that AO is one place to find things for the Roadside Attractions category so it would be redundant. 1 Quote
