When I get an email notification it tells me the distance of the cache from my home location, but when I go to the Geocaching App, it then tells me the distance from a previous address! I Have already updated this info a long time ago (over a year) but makes no difference..... Anyone? Quote Link to comment

Have you logged out of the app, shut down your phone, and then logged back into the app? Did you change your home location on your profile settings, or just in your instant notification settings? Moun10Bike Posted February 13, 2020 Share Posted February 13, 2020 There's some contradictory info in this thread, but it sounds to me like you have not updated the origin point of your notifications at http://www.geocaching.com/notify . The origin point of the notification is static, so even if you initially fill it in using your home location, it will not change when you update your home location. 1 Quote Link to comment
