+GeoElmo6000
Hi all, I was notified this week that I am a winner of an Adventure lab cache. I want to do something interesting with it if I'm going to publish it. I know you can embed videos into it, but what is something cool I can do with this cache to make it fun? Can I do anything time-based, for example? I just saw on YouTube a Wherigo video where the finder was playing a virtual whack a mole game in a big field, running around between locations in a certain time limit, and it looked fun. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Quote Link to comment

There is no "programming" of any sort in an ALC. Therefore it's not at all like a Wherigo. In fact, ALCs are more like Virtuals - show a location, tell a story, optionally with a picture or video in the app, and then ask the player a question they have to answer. I guess a clever combination of location and video could make for a cool ALC. Like, say, the video shows the player how to find the spot where the answer to the question is to be found. +TheVoytekBear
During one Mega event the lab caches were combined with AR (you had to use AR to get the password). The main problem with this is the character limit as you would have to include instruction. 1 Quote Link to comment
