Amarillo Area Geocachers

Hi Folks,

 

I'm new to the TX Panhandle and looking to meet fellow cachers to plan events and trips with. Today we held GC8G1KR with a decent turnout of all ages. Thank you to all who attended.

 

For the sake of tidiness please advise if there are other planning or news threads for this area. My search did not yield any results. If not, I would like to keep this thread open for folks in the TX Panhandle to discuss meetings or trips. I'm working on a regularly scheduled monthly meet and greet in Amarillo. We're still trying out different venues, dates and times. Please feel free to chime in with any recommendations or requests. All the best and thanks for your help.

 

PS: I also came across an Amarillo Geocaching group at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/AMA_Geocache/info but it appears to be inactive. Can anyone speak to this?

I'm not in that area, but from my experience, geocaching groups have migrated off other software platforms like Yahoo groups and onto facebook.  I would recommend looking around there if no one else comes back with one.
