Restart of an old thread - A Cache In Every Country (NE Texas)

As I sit here, there are still counties North of I-20 and East of I-35 with no caches in them. New one in Franklin county that we had the opportunity to find last night!

 

The cacheless counties include: Rains, Hopkins, Titus, Red River, Delta, Lamar, and Fannin. Cooke county has one, but it's not east of I-35.

 

Anyone have family out thatta way to help the cause?!?

Obviously this subject hit a nerve with almost no one.

 

What about State Parks in the area? Joe Pool, Ray Roberts, Tawakoni and more have good caches. I want to put one in Cooper Lake SP. Other prime parks to start tapping?

How about if I sink one in my in-law's pool in Gainesville? It is east of I-35? Just tell 'em Jen sent you. Actually, Ron and I will try to place one up in that area sometime soon. We've got our cache box -- now we just need to find a good spot. Stay tuned.

...Took nothing, Left nothing. Tried signing logbook, but it was soaked. Looks like it needs Rite In The Rain official geocaching logbook.

Some progress in the last year since this thread was last posted on:

 

Of the counties listed in the first post, Lamar and Fannin have added caches.

 

Delta, Hopkins, Rains, Red River, and Titus are still lacking caches.

 

Camp county actually lost a cache.

 

Of the counties North of I-20 and East of I-35 that had caches a year ago, they have increased in their numbers and the cachers have rejoiced.

Update!

 

Franklin, Delta, Rains and Hopkins are the only ones without a cache now!

 

BTW, I JUST noticed that this thread title had a typo. I meant COUNTY not COUNTRY.
