+GrateBear
I've decided to fill in more of the "birthday cache" grid on my profile. Is there a way to find caches hidden on a certain date for all years, ie, say Dec 1 for every year, instead of having to create a pocket query for Dec 1 for each individual year? Thanks. +icezebra11
I would like to discover a way to do that too. When I've looked for caches hidden on certain month/day combos where any year is acceptable, I've just run a series of PQs and changed the year each time. That means 20 PQs if you want to cover all the way back to 2000. It would be great if they provided a wildcard option for the year field. Quote Link to comment
Blue Square Thing
Project GC has a Map Hidden Date tool - it's on the Tools menu. You can't look for a specific date, but it will allow you to map caches that were hidden on dates you haven't found. It'll probably help. Quote Link to comment
+GrateBear
Ok, found it! GSAK has a macro that does it. To make it work, you just have to set up a database of your unfound caches, then run the macro--select that database, then enter the month/day you want to find. I was curious about leap day next year, entered 02/29/2020 and came up with 2 caches hidden on 2/29, both in 2017. Guess you know where I will be going next leap day! My new goal! Will likely take a few years, as I'm not going to go for a 366 day streak Edited November 24, 2019 by GrateBear Quote Link to comment
