+Max and 99
After seeing Vulture's recent coordinate palindrome waymarks I decided to take another shot at it. That description is a doozy! We managed to find a few possible spots to check out, and hopefully we will be rewarded with a successful waymark. Tricky coordinate game! Quote Link to comment
+8Nuts MotherGoose
If anyone is interested - I just created a Notepad file that can quickly be changed to get all 360 Palindromes for any whole degree Latitude / Longitude combination. Replace a, b, c, & d individually with the proper numeral to get the final coordinates. Nab 00.0dc Wcd 00.0ba Nab 10.0dc Wcd 00.1ba Nab 20.0dc Wcd 00.2ba Nab 30.0dc Wcd 00.3ba Nab 40.0dc Wcd 00.4ba Nab 50.0dc Wcd 00.5ba Nab 01.0dc Wcd 01.0ba Nab 11.0dc Wcd 01.1ba Nab 21.0dc Wcd 01.2ba Nab 31.0dc Wcd 01.3ba Nab 41.0dc Wcd 01.4ba Nab 51.0dc Wcd 01.5ba Nab 02.0dc Wcd 02.0ba Nab 12.0dc Wcd 02.1ba Nab 22.0dc Wcd 02.2ba Nab 32.0dc Wcd 02.3ba Nab 42.0dc Wcd 02.4ba Nab 52.0dc Wcd 02.5ba Replace a with 3, replace b with 9, replace c with 7, replace d with 2. If Longitude is over 100, replace W with W1. N39 00.027 W72 00.093 N39 10.027 W72 00.193 N39 20.027 W72 00.293 N39 30.027 W72 00.393 N39 40.027 W72 00.493 N39 50.027 W72 00.593 N39 01.027 W72 01.093 N39 11.027 W72 01.193 N39 21.027 W72 01.293 N39 31.027 W72 01.393 N39 41.027 W72 01.493 N39 51.027 W72 01.593 N39 02.027 W72 02.093 N39 12.027 W72 02.193 N39 22.027 W72 02.293 N39 32.027 W72 02.393 N39 42.027 W72 02.493 N39 52.027 W72 02.593 This continues down for 60 lines. Tricky coordinate game! the category description needs to be re-written. Parts of it explains variants of coords and says they are OK to use, then hidden elsewhere it says variants are no longer accepted. No bold lettering, no different colors! P.S. You need to do a GPS Tracklog Art. I need a visit for that category, and the only ones around are mine. Edited November 18, 2019 by vulture1957 Quote Link to comment

I caught that, and appreciate the warning. 12 minutes ago, vulture1957 said: You need to do a GPS Tracklog Art. I need a visit for that category, and the only ones around are mine. If I can ever figure out the tech aspect and how to get a screenshot, I'd absolutely love to! Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
GPS-a-Sketch! I can't wait to try it out! The tech sure has changed since I first looked at that category. I hope they accept screenshots of GPS app tracklogs! Edited November 18, 2019 by Max and 99 Quote Link to comment

+Max and 99
Thanks for the tracklog art nudge, Vulture. Waymark approved. That was a challenge! Quote Link to comment

That was a challenge! the part that took me so long was figuring out something besides the star and envelope that most have done. Turned out spelling my name was very easy. Now I'm thinking of doing a more complicated star figure. Great work on the sq root! Edited November 23, 2019 by vulture1957 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I snagged two palindromes on my trip. While getting photos for one, on a two lane curvy road with fast cars, I spotted an artistic manhole cover and of course I had to take photos of it, not even knowing if it was already waymarked. That was a challenge! "OK to go. No cars. Abort! Abort! Car coming! OK, it's clear. You can go. Back up, back up. Car coming!' You can go now. Get out! Get out! Car coming! It's clear now. Abort! Abort! Car coming!" I was direction disoriented since my focus was facing down, and my biggest fear was running in the wrong direction when an alert was given. That was really scary! I took about a dozen attempts to get a close-up photo. Quote Link to comment

+Max and 99
I feel sick to my stomach. I switched two digits and didn't get Toro's right. I'm very very disappointed in myself for not triple checking while there. I feel just sick about it and now I have to let him know. Edit: I posted a note on two close geocachers asking if anyone can help. Edited December 2, 2019 by Max and 99 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I was so excited to see that someone was adventurous enough to visit my palindrome waymark! Until I opened it and saw that not only was there no photo to prove they were there, but the only comment I got was "Discovered while doing an adventure lab". ☹️ 1 Quote Link to comment
